Teresa Gibson Powell is, by vote of the other Sisters, the bands' hottie. This tiny lady sings in such clear tones that nightingales hearing her fall from the sky in fits of jealous depression. No, really!
She plays the ¾ upright bass, an instrument far taller and wider (and heavier) than herself, plucking it with gusto and bowing it with passion. You'll hear her bluegrass roots in many of Three Weird Sisters' arrangements.
Teresa specializes in weight and health management consulting as a Certified Health Coach for Take Shape For Life, a division of Medifast. She and her husband have both had great success losing weight with TSFL, and you can read more about their personal story here. Teresa also teaches Yoga and Pilates, and is an avid herbalist and Reiki Master. She possesses one of the largest and most beautiful tattoos that spans the entire canvas of her back. She enjoys healthy gourmet cooking, gardening, beadwork and spending time with her family She's married to George Powell. Teresa and George have 5 children between them, all of whom are musical...kind of like the Partridge Family but with better fashion sense! They reside in suburban Atlanta.
